Planning and Zoning Commission
Purpose
Established state law, the Planning & Zoning Commissions’ function is to study proposed developments that may have an impact on the community’s growth and environment. The commission ensures that proposed developments will meet the City of Leander’s technical, environmental and aesthetic standards. The Commission holds public hearings, as required by state law, to review plans to ensure that they comply with the City’s zoning regulations and Subdivision Ordinance for development.
Meeting
The Commission meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Pat Bryson Municipal Hall, 201 N. Brushy, Leander, TX. All agendas and minutes maybe viewed from Quick Links on the Home page.
Commission Members
The Commission consists of seven members serving three year terms.
